Smoky Qeema Do Pyaaza is a delicious and flavorful dish that originates from North India and Pakistan. Made with minced meat, onions, tomatoes, and a blend of aromatic spices, this dish is perfect for a hearty breakfast or dinner. 

Here's a simple recipe to make Smoky Qeema Do Pyaaza:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb minced beef or lamb
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves, for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add cumin seeds and fry for 1 minute until they start to splutter.

  2. Add onions to the pan and fry until they turn golden brown.

  3. Add ginger paste and garlic paste to the pan and fry for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add minced meat to the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes until lightly browned on all sides.

  5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, smoked paprika powder, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.

  6. Add tomatoes and green chilies to the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.

  7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 10-15 minutes until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.

  8. Remove the lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the oil has separated.

  9. Garnish the Smoky Qeema Do Pyaaza with chopped fresh coriander leaves.

  10. Serve the Smoky Qeema Do Pyaaza hot with naan bread or steamed rice.
