What does surah Duha Teaches You?

Surah Duha is the 93rd chapter of the Quran, and it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during a time when he was experiencing a period of sadness and difficulty. The surah offers comfort and encouragement to the Prophet and to all believers who may be going through difficult times.

Here are some of the lessons that can be learned from Surah Duha:

  1. Trust in Allah: The surah begins by reassuring the Prophet that Allah has not abandoned him and that he is not displeased with him. This is a reminder to all believers that Allah is always with us and that we should trust in Him and have faith in His plan for us.

  2. Gratitude: The surah encourages believers to be grateful for the blessings that Allah has given them, even in times of difficulty. This is a reminder that even when things are tough, there are always things to be thankful for.

  3. Patience: The surah reminds us that difficult times are temporary and that we should be patient and persevere through them. This is a reminder that our trials and tribulations are a test from Allah, and that we should trust in His wisdom and have patience.

  4. Helping Others: The surah also reminds us of the importance of helping those in need and being kind to others. This is a reminder that we should always strive to be compassionate and to help others, especially during difficult times.

    Surah Duha teaches us to have faith in Allah, to be grateful for our blessings, to be patient during difficult times, and to help others. These are valuable lessons that can be applied to many areas of our lives, and they can help us to be more resilient and compassionate individuals.

English translation of Surah Duha:

[93:1] By the morning brightness

 [93:2] And by the night when it is still (or darkens);

[93:3] Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased.

 [93:4] And surely the Hereafter will be better for you than the present.

[93:5] And indeed, your Lord will give you so much that you will be well pleased.

 [93:6] Did He not find you an orphan and give you refuge?

 [93:7] And found you lost and guided you? [93:8] And found you poor and made you self-sufficient?

[93:9] So do not oppress the orphan,

 [93:10] And do not drive away the beggar,

[93:11] And proclaim the grace of your Lord.
