Caster oil
Almond oil
Honey
Clarified butter (desi ghee)
Take a cup, put four spoons of almond oil,two spoons of caster oil, three spoons of honey and two spoons of clarified butter. MIX these all ingredients well. Pour this mixture in a small bottle and always shake well before giving to constipated baby.You can add recommended dose in baby milk or in luke warm water or in juice according to age of the baby.
When your baby is constipated from three or four days consider the following chart for amount of mixture your baby need to get rid of constipation immediately(within 3-4 hours). If it does not work after one dose you may repeat it by following the recommended dosage below:
0 to 3 months= 2 drops once a day
3 to 6 months= 2 drops twice a day
6 to 12 months= 4 drops twice a day
1 to 2 years=8 drops once a day
more than 2 years= 1 spoon once a day
Adult= 1 spoon twice a day
if constipation is chronic you may repeat dose for consecutive 3 days.
